Spring Break March 2012
So we decided to do a Arizona Vacation this spring break. We started with going to the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. I love going to the this park it reminds me of my Father Gerald B. Johnson. He loved that area of the state. It was so fun to share it with my family. Plus it is next to the Ranch that their Father Robert Spurlock grew up on. So they can see the area that their Dad "Cowboy ed up on". It's good for children to see the connections that they have to the country. After we spent time in northern AZ we headed to Roosevelt Lake, where we camped for the night. We had a blast fishing, swimming and just sitting by the campfire. It was my Birthday and we enjoyed a smores cookout instead of a cake. I love camping and spending time with my family. We then came home and enjoyed General Conference on the weekend before school started back up. Arizona is a awesome state with lots of wonderful places to expore. I love this state. I'm so glad to be a native born Arizonan, raising a Arizonan family in the White Mountains of AZ. I hope everyone had wonderful Spring Break!
